Puerto Lofts occupies the 1920s customs warehouse on the old quay in Puerto Viejo, converted into 56 lofts of 90 to 140 sqm and handed over in February 2025. The building permit on file at the planning office lists 56 units, matching the price list, which is the check that failed on two other conversions in the town.
The developer’s June 2026 price list shows 14 units unsold, from 172,000 CRC for a 92 sqm loft on the courtyard side to 298,000 CRC for a 138 sqm corner loft over the water. The association set the 2026 charge at 2.2 CRC per sqm a month. Buyers should still confirm the unit’s own floor area against the permit, as the title checks guide explains.
